Unite 4 Democracy is thrilled to announce that NO KINGS 4 will be held in Lake Oswego
Saturday, October 17th, 10am-12pm!
We expect thousands of people from throughout Oregon and beyond joining us in LO!

Help make NO KINGS 4 in Lake Oswego a huge, welcoming, and safe success! Sign up today for one of these teams:
- Peace and Safety Team– we need 30 new volunteers!
Peace and Safety Volunteers will be trained to create a supportive, celebratory, and safe environment for all NO KINGS 4 participants and community members. In-person and on-site training will include observation, assessment, and de-escalation skills.
In-person training:
Sat. Sept. 26th,12:30-2:30pm
- Outreach Team– we need 25 new volunteers!
Outreach Team Volunteers will be trained to represent U4D as a welcoming and supporting community to the thousands of people joining NO KINGS 4 in Lake Oswego. The in-person, on-site training will include “welcoming” and outreach skills.

Sat. Sept. 26th, 3:00-4:30pm
To sign up for either team, email info@unite4democracy.org by Friday, September 11. Provide your name, phone number, and preferred volunteer team. You will receive a confirmation email with additional information including training location. THANK YOU!

SUPERHERO’S SUMMIT
Unite 4 Democracy is hosting the NO KINGS 4: VOTE EARLY Superhero’s Summit right here in Lake Oswego!
Saturday, October 10th, 1-3 pm.
Join us to mobilize, learn, share, and help drive the largest Early Vote turnout in history and prepare to combat any attempted election sabotage.
- Special Guest–Clackamas County Clerk Katherine McMullen will share her election expertise.
- 2026 Short Film– Suppressed and Sabotaged: The Fight To Vote 2026
- Learn and share innovative ideas to engage and empower friends, family, and community members to Vote Early.
All attendees are welcome (but not required) to wear their favorite Superhero attire!

Two Civic Engagement Films
at The Lake Theater & Cafe
This October we have two great, thought-provoking films as part of our Civic Engagement Program.
The Work in Progress– Saturday, Oct. 3rd
Lightworkers– Sunday, Oct. 4th
The doors open for both at 4 pm, movie starts at 5:30pm
After the film, we will have time to discuss what we have learned. Support The Lake Theater & Cafe by enjoying the yummy food and beverages they have available— before, during and after the film!

The Work in Progress
If you were invited to sit at a table with someone you’ve never met before and answer handwritten questions from a wooden box about the state of America, would you run the other way?
The Work in Progress invites strangers from across generations and geographies to engage in candid discussions about America’s ever-evolving democracy, identity, and definitions of community — and where the heck we go from here.
Lightworkers
Lightworkers is a feature documentary directed by Bobby Roth that brings together a diverse group of individuals who have taken action in the face of social, political, and environmental challenges.
Through a series of personal, interview-driven stories, the film explores how individuals contribute to the strength and resilience of democratic society.
